Spoke Placement – What is a spoke placement?
For students studying Nursing & Midwifery
For all students your Hub placement is your main placement allocation. Whilst at your Hub placement it is possible through your own endeavours and in negotiation with your Practice Supervisor and/or Practice Assessor to arrange and attend short Spoke placements between 1-5 days.
Spoke placements need to be related to your Hub placement and you need to clearly identify to your Practice Supervisor and/or Practice Assessor the learning that you expect to gain from the Spoke placement.
