I can’t log into my IT account, what should I do?

If you are having a problem accessing your University account this could be due to a number of reasons:

• You have entered an incorrect username - your username is your student enrolment number (an 8-digit number found on correspondence from the University)

• You have entered an incorrect password. If you have already set up multi factor authentication and forgotten your password please recover your account here using your University email address (student enrolment number@students.southwales.ac.uk). 

• Your account may be locked due to multiple invalid login attempts. Please wait 20 mins and try again.

• Your account has been disabled for financial reasons and you will need to contact the Finance Team for further assistance.

• Your account has been disabled for security reasons and need to contact IT Support for further assistance. 

• Your account has been disabled for curriculum reasons; you need to contact your Advice Zone for further assistance
