What are assessment centres?

Employers bring together a group of candidates who will complete a combination of tasks and activities that will test their suitability for the job. 

Over one or two days selectors measure you against a set of competencies using a range of methods which can include one-to-one interviews, group activities, psychometric tests, in-tray exercises, case studies and presentations. They may also include social/informal events and information-giving sessions.
