POW Timesheets – Do I have to work bank holidays during placement?
For all Nursing, Midwifery, and Allied Health Programmes
You are not obligated to work a bank holiday, however, if you are allocated a shift on a bank holiday and you choose not to work this shift you will not be credited with the hours and you will have to work the hours at another time.
If you choose not to work a bank holiday, please mark your time sheet for this day as absent and note in the comments box that it was a bank holiday.
If you are allocated to a placement area that does not work on Bank Holidays you will be required to work the hours at another time.
