I'm a Postgraduate Masters/Doctoral student applying for APL/RPL credits; am I entitled to Government funding?
You are not eligible for the Postgraduate Masters and Doctoral Student Funding if you are transferring your previous credits using Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) or Accredited Prior Learning (APL) credits, or a top-up in relation to your course of study.
If you will be in receipt of an NHS bursary or KESS funding for your programme of study you will not be eligible to apply for a loan.
Also, please be aware that if during the application stage or after enrolling your student finance application is found to be ineligible, we are required to inform the SLC and your student funding will be withdrawn.
