FAQ 303
Is stress an Extenuating Circumstance?

Most students will experience a degree of stress when sitting an exam or working to a deadline, so it would not normally be considered exceptional. However, if the stress is so severe that you are receiving medical or professional support then, with evidence, such as a supporting letter or report, you can submit an Extenuating Circumstances claim. The claim must demonstrate that the stress was significant at the time of your exam or assessment.
