I’m getting interviews but not job offers. What can I do?
Well done on getting to the interview stage. There are three key things you can do:
1. Always ask the employer for feedback on the basis that it can help you prepare for future interviews. Try telephoning employers as they are generally more willing to give feedback verbally rather than in writing.
2. Review your interview performance by reflecting on the questions you were asked and how you might answer them better at a future interview.
3. Book an appointment with a Careers Adviser to discuss your interview performance and get constructive feedback and advice on areas where you might be able to improve.
